FANTASY LEAGUE 2008
Welcome to New Tredegar RFC FREE! 6 nations fantasy league 2008.
The RBS 6 Nations Fantasy League starts in the next week or two.
To enter all you need to do is select a 15-man team from a player list. You can access the player list by clicking the following button:
The player list will also be put up in the club on the notice board ASAP. You will only be able to select a maximum four players from each nation and the right number of players for each position (i.e. three front-row forwards, two second-row forwards, three back-row forwards, one scrum-half, one fly-half, two centres and three outside backs).
You will also need to assign one of your players as a goal kicker.
To enter your 15-man team you can do one of the following:
1. Post your 15-man side – chosen from the players list onto the Club Forum, with Team Name, Team Manger.
2. E-mail your side to dan_dav@hotmail.co.uk and include your Team Name, Team Manager Name.
3. Complete the fantasy league sheet (you will be able to obtain this from the clubs notice board) and leave it behind the bar for my attention.
You side must be submitted by one of the above route’s before 14.00 Saturday 2nd February. Note: Any late submissions will be excluded.
Each Monday throughout the tournament I will update and publish the standings both on this website and on the club’s notice board.
Points will be awarded as follows:
Full Appearance (player starts and finishes the game) = 3pts
Part Appearance (player starts but doesn't finish the game) = 2pts
Substitute Appearance (player comes on as a substitute) = 1pts
Try = 5pts
Penalty Kick or Conversion (designated kicker only) = 1pts
Drop Goal (all players) = 1pts
Yellow Card = -1pts
Red Card = -2 pts
Man of the match (as officially awarded by the IRB) = 5 pts
